The cooler weather and rain we finally had, has made the Shiitake mushrooms pop out of logs like never before in our garden! Such a beautiful sight to see! Adam and I have been watering them yesterday and today, and I will be picking some tomorrow.
This is the second year for these logs, and the first time they have bloomed so well!

Those look grat Anne. How often are you watering? We get 4-5 at a time and missed the last round as we were in Atlanta!!

Shiitake overload!
Jennie - I have not watered them at all, until they all popped out and I saw that we had no more rain in the forecast... That last rain and the cooler temps brought on the bloom. the past 3-4 days we have been watering them once or twice a day for about 15 minutes total...
